MARK LOR= EN Bio

Mark Loren is a composer, producer and DJ from Treviso, (Venice) i= n Italy.

He has songwriting credits for high profile artists l= ike Corona. He has also worked with worldwide famous DJs a= nd official remixers of major artists such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas, and <= strong>Bob Sinclair.

After the worldwide critically acclaimed rework of Sugar by Robin = Shulz (known as the Meta-Remix), Mark Loren takes the dance music scene by storm with his = brand new dance-pop single "Comment Te Dire Adieu".

This unique interpretation of the great classic French song, perfe= ctly mixes the energy of the dance beat and the appeal of the pop song with= the rhythm-strength of rap, as never before.

The track features the vocal collaboration of Italo-Qatar vocalist= Malikah Jamilah and the extraordinary rap performance of the American arti= st RarCharm.

As a DJ, Mark Loren uses to play gigs especially in Ibiza<= /strong>, his favorite place where to spin.

Even if his DJ set is focused on House and Deep house, Pop music has always a great influe= nce on his music selection and on his productions. He believes that this ge= nre has a great energy and a deep impact on people when it is mixed with th= e dance beat.

His earlier production, the so-called meta-remix of Su= gar, has gained a lot of popularity worldwide, including praise from Select Radio (UK), Radio Darmstadt (Germany), Beatsmedia (UK) and J= ason Lin of Billboard (USA) who felt it was the best = mix of the song.

In fact, the “meta-remix” is a new mixing technique <= span>achieved by mixing and mashing up some samples from the original song = with the official remixes. The final result is a brand new mix with a disti= nct identity. It’s not a mash up, nor a remix but what Mark Loren has defined as the remix of the remix in his “Manifesto of the Meta-Re= mix” (a declaration text similar to what Futuri= sts did in the early twentieth century) which explains why this is a brand = new mixing philosophy, celebrating the creativity of the DJ as an artist.
