Here's The= Riot is the pseudonym of singer / song writer Paris Tompk= ins. Originally from Houston he moved to Los Angeles at the age of= 17 to pursue his love of music. He formed the band Slamhound with singer J= osh Todd of Buckcherry, playing guitar and singing back up.

Paris was the front man of the band Church of Mars and later made = gothic / dark wave music under the name Paris Grim. His musical inspiration= s are guitar rock bands like Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and Guns N Roses. He= re's The Riot has allowed Paris to go back to his rock n roll roots writing= about love, hope, anger, freedom, alienation, heartbreak, and being human.=

Paris wrote the music for comedian and close friend Tig Notaro's H= BO special and has the hit song Love Makes Me Crazy featured on the hit tv = show One Mississippi.
